Our salt caves consists of about 20 tons of pink (high-mineral) salt, shipped from pollution free mines in Poland. By using such tremendous amounts of salt, a unique microclimate is achieved within the cave. The climate is rich in ions, minerals and micro-elementary particles like sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium and many others which are present in the air.
Listen to the trickling of the fountain as the recirculated salt brine launches off the branches and in to the air to surround you with rich, clean air. You will notice the difference. These are molecules are naturally absorbed into body during the therapy by breathing the saturated air into the lungs and thus improving the intake and increasing supply of these important elements necessary for good health, performance and overall fitness for all ages. Safe for people of all ages and health levels. (See below if worried.)
Our sessions are held on comfortable deckchairs, accompanied by properly chosen music, which help you to relax, calm down, and enjoy your service. Due to the fast growth of technology and environmental pollution, more and more people suffer from allergies, asthma and other civilization diseases. Outside air in cities and even mountain microclimates are weak in iodine and other important elements for our health.
It would take you three days at a beach to absorb the minerals you get in a half hour in our closed-circulation cave.
What’s with negative ions? Are they positive? Dust, cigarette fumes, our modern convenient electrical appliances, such TVs, computers, high-voltage networks and external pollution produce large quantities of positive ions creating electrical imbalance in the air. When negative ion concentration is lowered, people inhale more positive ions from the air. This can cause headaches, lethargy, dizziness, nausea, depression, indigestion, and irritability. It is extremely important to add negative ions, back into the air for optimal health. The antibacterial influence of negative ions in the air has been tested in hospitals by increasing the concentration of negative ions in the air. The percentage of harmful bacteria in the air was significantly lowered causing patient wounds to heal faster and the convalescence time of the patients was shortened. People who were exposed to higher levels of negative ions in the air indicated these positive results: achieving optimal weight, decrease of blood pressure, increase of energy and stamina.

As often found in dry salt therapy rooms, our WET SALT THERAPY does not cause lung irritation and sensitivities for those with asthma – quite the opposite, actually! We saturate the air naturally, similar to the Wieliczka Salt Mine and Spa in Poland, which has been verified as a source for COPD and asthma treatment.
Research on the beneficial influence of the salt underground microclimate on the functioning of the human respiratory system was first carried out by Dr Feliks Boczkowski. He noticed that Wieliczka miners were much less likely to develop lung diseases, a typical ailment of coal miners. It was on Boczkowski’s initiative that a bathing establishment was established in Wieliczka (1839), which offered saline baths, salt mud baths and inhalations.
Dr. Mieczysław Skulimowski (1958), as a mine physician, initiated treatment using the beneficial properties of the salt climate of the underground. In this way, he laid the foundations for a new method of treatment of respiratory diseases – subterraneotherapy.

Our wet salt therapy of breathing in clean, saturated air is directly influenced from these treatments.
